في احتفال سنوي للكليات الجامعية في السويد والذي احتضنته كلية صوفياهميت الجامعية وبحضور السيدة الأولى في السويد الملكة سلفيا ،ألقى الطالب / علوان الشمراني كلمه معبره في حفل جامعة صوفيا همت ممثلاً لبلاده المملكة العربية السعودية وممثلاً لمهنة التمريض.

وقد أتت كلمته بالنيابة عن زملاءه المبتعثين حيثُ اختارت كلية صوفياهميت الجامعية طالب الماجستير علوان الشمراني ليلقي كلمه أمام ملكه السويد .
وقد أتت كلمة الطالب لتلهب القاعة حيثُ صفق الحضور بحرارة لتلك الكلمات التي اختارها لتكون تعبيراً صادقاً عن فكر الشعب السعودي وحكومته المحبة للسلام والخير للعالم أجمع.وقد جاء في الكلمة بأن خادم الحرمين الشريفين يعمل بخطط وأهداف إستراتيجية للنهوض بالمملكة لمصاف الدول المتقدمة،ونتيجة لذلك جاء برنامج خادم الحرمين للإبتعاث الخارجي ، حيث يوجد هناك أكثر من 65 ألف مبتعث يدرسون في أعرق الجامعات العالمية ومن ضمنها الجامعات السويدية.وقد أضاف بأن أولاك الطلاب المبتعثين سيحملون على عاتقهم تحقيق تلك الأهداف التي رسمها لهم قائد البلاد حفظه الله.

وفي ختام كلمته قدم شكره لوزير التعليم العالي الأستاذ الدكتور خالد العنقري على ما يقوم به من جهود من أجل الطلاب المبتعثين وتسهيل شؤونهم الدارسية كما قدم شكره للملحق الثقافي في ألمانيا الأستاذ الدكتور فهد الحبيب على المتابعة والاهتمام المستمر الذي يقوم به لأبنائه الطلاب.

وقد ألقت الملكة كلمه تاريخيه أشادت فيها بدور الجامعة وعراقتها وبأهمية المهنة وإنسانيتها وقالت لو لم أكن ملكة لكنت ممرضة.وعلى هامش اللقاء أشادت الملكه بدور الملك /عبدالله بن عبد العزيز التاريخي في السلام العالمي وقالت أنه أحد الملوك القلائل في العالم الذي يحضى بمحبة شعبه وأنها سعيدة بأن الملك / عبدالله بن عبدالعزيز إختار السويد لتكون محطة علميه لأبنائه ثم تمنت للجميع إقامة سعيدة في السويد وأن تكلل دارستهم بالتوفيق.

	Good afternoon welcome at your home Home!!!! Yes Home!!Because when we are at sophiahemmet we feel like our home. Hennes Majestet Drottning Silvia Ladies and gentlemen, I am honored to be standing before you, behalf of myself and behalf of Saudi students at Sophiahemet University College. In a few minutes I am going to talk about: Why are we here in Sweden? A few tips about the nursing in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia? Why did we choose Sweden as a destination for education? The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz has a goals and mission to develop his country in all fields and of course nursing one of that. So he has created an external scholarship program to achieve that goal. As a result,there are more than 65,000 students outside of Saudi Arabia study at the best universities around the world and the Swedish universities are part of that. So when we are going back home we will take that goals in action. The first Institute of Nursing in Saudi Arabia has opened in 1959. There are 24 Institutes and 19 Health Sciences Colleges give a nursing diploma. Likewise, there are 9 nursing colleges give bachelor, master and PhD. In the last few years the number of nursing college is growing rapidly. Why did we choose Sweden as a destination for education? Actually [It is my favorite question because I feel proud when I answered] Firstly: When we look for Innovation and creativity,Swedenis a safe and modern country in Europe, and it has accrued a spectacular reputation as an innovator and creative force. Secondly: When we talk about high Standards, Swedenhas a long and proud history of academic excellence, with outstanding universities dating back to the 15th century. Thirdly: If we want many choices,Swedish universitiesoffer Hundredsof bachelor, master’s and PhD degree programs in English. Fourthly: If we want to feel warmly welcomed, Sweden’s educationalpolicy is based on the recognition that a multicultural student body is a resource and the Competition for places is keen.Moreover, The Swedish people are honest and hardworking. In addition, the weather in Sweden is cold but the hospitality of Swedish people made that warm and beautiful. finally: If we wish more than study and want to live in the land of cultures,we have to come whereAlfred Nobel , August Strindberg, Astrid Lindgren, Selma LagerlöfandHarry Martinsonlived. The Innovation, high Standards, choices and warm welcome are all here in Sophiahemmet University College. Distinguished audience University life here at Sophiahemmet has given us a considerable benefit to the start of our critical thinking; we’ve been challenged, encouraged and supported. We are all destined to make choices and those choices do largely control our actions. We are most fortunate and grateful that [Sophiahemmet University College] is filled with so many motivated teachers and people who make positive choices, which ultimately lead to so many meaningful and productive actions.
